Arsilicii AL320 RC very strange problem

Messaggio da Cristovão » 15/02/2018, 15:16

First of all my apologies for some translation error because I am using google translate so I can communicate and it does not always translate everything as it should be.
I live in Portugal and I do not have any Arsilicii helpdesk where you can help me, so all your help will be greatly appreciated.
Some time ago I had a problem with the cell battery that almost burned the positive terminal of the unit, however, after cleaning it always worked well.
Last December, when I had the motorhome connected to 220v, by lapse I started the engine without disconnecting the plug and when I realized that I immediately disconnected the electricity plug.
Coincidence or not, since then I have a weird minimum problem on the AL320RC drive.
When I connect the + and - wires of the cell battery to the respective unit contacts I get error and it does not work, however moving the + wire to the next terminal works.
I know this should not be normal operation so I needed your help.
Also attached photos so that they understand my problem.
All your help is greatly appreciated since I have nothing that can help me in Portugal
Thank you very muchImmagine

Hello
White connector have 2 negative and 2 positive. If you put the + on lower contact (white connector) the system work because there are the two positive.
Check if the connector overheating again because one positive contact is no good.

Thank you SimoneR for your quick response.
Apparently connected as shown in the figure everything seems to work normally, however, I did an experiment and removed the unit from its location and with all the removed connections I connected only the 220v connector and measured the + contact that gave 13.5v load to the battery.
The strange thing is that when put in place and with all the contacts connected, the + terminal where it was supposed to be connected does not send any current to the cell battery and only works on the 2nd terminal that we can see in the photo.
Can there be any damage to any component inside the unit?

Best regards

If you check the voltage on burned contact without load you can see the voltage but when you connect on it a load (es a little lamp) probably the voltage go down.
If you connect the charger on the system there is a little load and on burned contact the voltage go down. On second positive contact (not burned) all voltage are OK.

Exactly, it works as it mentions.
The question is I am not worried about how it is connected as long as it works well and does not cause any problems for the unit, my fear is not knowing if so connected in this way does not cause serious problems?

If the positive in on 3rd or 4th contact is the same and you not have any other problem. To avoid any problem in the future, clean the contact when there is dust or oxide.
